The six-year-old slept in our bed last night. And he happened to wet the bed. And my iPhone happened to be right underneath him.
I can go get a new iPhone for 99 cents at Verizon Wireless by signing a two-year contract. Right now. That's comforting.
But I'd wanted to do all this research. There must be cheaper plans out there. But are they better? How does one even begin to define 'better'? I do like to belabor decisions—especially those that carry with them a change to the status quo—by asking lots of questions. Questions like why have I been with Verizon Wireless for 17 million years?
As much as I feel paralyzed by being forced to make a quick decision, I feel even more incapacitated without the phone. Not that I talk to anybody with, like, my actual voice. I just need to be connected. At all times. (Hence, the phone was in my BED.)
Remember when we had to go to libraries and stuff to find information?
Update: 2 hours later and this feels like the Dark Ages.
